What is Chinmaya Yuva Kendra Pittsburgh?
We are the Pittsburgh chapter of Chinmaya Yuva Kendra West, the North American youth branch of Chinmaya Mission, an organization dedicated to sharing the wisdom of Vedanta with the world. We strive to better ourselves and the lives of others through critical study (satsang), service (seva), and the application of Vedantic principles.
Since 2010, we have held weekly discussions on practical philosophy, conducted spritiual weekend retreats, and participated in local service activities. Check out our blog and our photo gallery for more information on these exciting events.

Weekly Discussions
Our weekly meetings are eye-opening platforms for intellectual discussions on how ancient philosophy applies to our daily lives. Join us as we explore topics how to overcome fear, manage our emotions, and broaden our self development to accomplish our goals in life.
During Spring 2019, we are meeting in Carnegie Mellon University's Wean Hall Room Number 5312 from 7:30 to 9:00 PM every Thursday.
